French Fragments is dedicated to profiling little bits of common life in France in and around Paris. It’s from the perspective of a fairly well-traveled American living there for a few years and raising a family. The intended audience is those who want to know something beyond what you see on the surface and enjoy understanding the everyday discoveries and differences about life in France versus America.

First and foremost this blog is about having fun sharing the things we see and learn here. France has detractors but it’s a wonderful place to live. We might not want to start or run a company here versus America but the quality of life is hard to beat.
